Night Owl

Wow! So it's been a while since I've posted! I do believe that I will be posting more often now. I'll probably post on weekends (Thurs.-Sun.), but I'm really not sure yet. The reason why I'll post then is because that's when I go to my online class. I just think that if I have to be on the internet I might as well post something, right? The only thing that would hinder my grand blogger scheme is my work schedule. I really only work nights and weekends (kind of sounds like a cell phone plan). However, I will do my best to keep the world--or at least a part of the world--updated on the events of my life.

...Speaking of work, it's about 12:45 AM and I just got off (actually I got off at 12:00 AM). Now that I work nights, I'm staying up later. I used to not be able to make it much past 10:30 PM. I guess because I have been forced to stay up, I just do it. Although, my work really isn't at fault. It's the homework that keeps me up! (I know that it's all part of an elaborate plot by the government to save money. They want all of the PSEO students to stay up so late with homework that they go crazy and the government can then stop funding PSEO and buy Krispy Kremes for everyone in the Senate and House of Reps to celebrate.)* Well, all blaming aside, I truly have been staying up later and not getting tired. Take this weekend for example. On Thursday night I worked a closing shift, which usually only lasts until 11:00 PM on weekdays and 12:00 AM on weekends. But there was some swimming thing, so we had like 5 or 6 different buses stop in. We didn't get a chance to really start doing anything until 10 or so. It took me and another girl three hours to catch up with the nightly duties and do the closing list. I got out at 1:00 AM. Then on Friday night I went to the girly party at the Brobergs' house. That was sweet, but I didn't get to bed until 5:45 AM! And that brings us to tonight. It's almost 1:00 AM; I'm still awake, and I'm not tired. This is complete and utter maddness! I don't even know what to do with myself. Okay, I really do know what to do with myself. I should probably go to bed so I can make it to church in time tomarrow. I suppose I'm going. Yes, any minute now I will be in my bed and on my way to dreamland. And that minute is...now! Good night!
